RCS REGISTRATION FOR ALL STUDENTS IN THE DISTRICT
AUGUST 6, 7 and 8TH 7am-1pm & 3pm-7pm @ EATER ANNEX.

NEW TO THE DISTRICT

  • Pre-register at the RCS Central Office (400 E. Wabash east of Eater Jr High) by August 1st.
    Bring birth certificate and proof of residency.  Hours:  Monday – Thursday, 7am – 4:30 pm
  • Bring your child with you if he/she is:
    • §  A kindergartener who did not attend screening this spring
    • §  New to the district in 6th or 7th grade
    • §  An English Language Learner
  • Enrollment & Registration Form  - ALL students – New to District and Returning
  • Home Language Survey – NEW students to the District only
  • U.S. Department of Education Race and Ethnicity Data Standards – NEW to the District Only
  • Internet & Media/Photograph/Video Permission Form  -ALL students–New and Returning
  • Allergy & Health Form - ALL students – New to District and Returning;
    If your child has specific medical needs (such as asthma or diabetes) or requires medicine distribution during school hours please find, print and fill out the appropriate form in the medical section of this website and bring to registration. THESE FORMS ARE REQUIRED EACH YEAR.
  • Student Handbook Sign Off – ALL students – New to District and Returning
  • Title 1 Compact - ALL students – New to District and Returning
  • Pesticide Registration - Only the parents wanting to be notified complete the form at the school
  • Medical Forms – Any necessary forms required for Medical Compliance – Physicals and Immunization Records. This year students may not start school unless compliant.
  •  Must bring verification of residency – One of the following: 
    • Apartment/house lease or mortgage documents;
    • State or Government document – i.e. Driver’s license, state ID, voter’s registration card, etc.
    • Village Bill – need both sides

RETURNING STUDENTS

  • Enrollment & Registration Form  - ALL students – New to District and Returning

Local Wellness Policy Committee Meeting.
There will be a meeting to review and evaluate our current Wellness Policy. At that time, we will assess district needs & make modifications to our current policy. The meeting will take place on June 4th. Time and place TBA. Cross Country Information:
The EJHS Cross Country Team will have their first meeting on Monday, August 4. The Cross Country Team is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th Grade students at Eater Junior High School. Runners should meet Coach Que in front of Eater Junior High School at 6:00 p.m. and be prepared to go for a short run. Students must have a physical less that 395 days old to be able to participate. Softball Information:
The EJHS Softball team will have tryouts on Monday, July 28 and Tuesday, July 29 at Wabash Park from 4 to 6 p.m. Students must have a physical less than 395 days old to try out. The team is open to any 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl. Girls should bring their glove and dress to play softball.
Tryouts for the Rantoul Eater Middle School baseball team:
Begins at 9am on August 4th at Wabash Park ending at 11am. Players should be at the field at 8:45am to register. Anyone entering sixth, seventh, or eighth grade is eligible to try out for the team.
