All students in grades K-5 benefit from general music instruction by an elementary music education specialist. These classes meet daily. The teachers incorporate the latest practices in order to provide the highest quality musical experience possible. Every K-5 music student has at least one performance opportunity during the school year. Our program is enhanced by recorder instruction during the 4th grade, and annual outings to live symphony concerts. Band instruction begins during the summer after 5th grade is completed.
